At Elvang, we are fair trade certified at the absolute highest level. We are known for our soft alpaca throws and scarves, but now we are launching a completely new product for the floor in the form of the fine Elvang floor runners.
The floor runner / rugs is handmade in Portugal and is produced in 100% recycled fibers. The runners are hand-woven in the traditional way on mechanical looms at a family-run factory in northern Portugal, just as carpets have always been woven. The alternately thin and thick materials in the shoot offers fine nutty pattern and at the same time a soft waffle effect, which gives the runners a bold and rustic fullness. A beautiful combination of traditional craftmanship married with a modern expression
The runners / rugs are available in two sizes and are ideal in the kitchen, in the bathroom, in the hallway - and in all other rooms where a little warmth and cosiness just needs to be added. They are available in several colours and they can be washed at 30 degrees.
