A throw for every occasion The perfect throw is soft, warm and can be used all year round - if you're chilly inside or want to sit outside for a bit longer, and when you need something to warm your lower back, shoulders or feet. And of course when, regardless of the temperature, you want to wrap yourself or your loved ones in something cosy and soft because it simply feels good.
Our wool throws are woven from either recycled alpaca and sheep wool or pure baby alpaca wool. Alpaca fibres are known to be softer, more durable and better at heat regulation than other natural fibres, and alpaca wool throws also fluff minimally and therefore typically last longer than similar materials. The wool is also hypoallergenic because it does not contain lanolin and is therefore suitable for allergy sufferers.
Sustainability and responsibility
Alpaca wool is widely considered a sustainable choice. This is not only due to the properties and quality of the wool itself, which gives it a long lifespan, but also the way of life of the animals in their country of origin. Because alpacas live free in the wild, often in mountainous areas that cannot be cultivated, they are part of nature's cycle just like other free-roaming animals.
